Vincent C. Massina

President

Vincent C. Massina is responsible for all of H.M. Hughes’ business operations. He directs in-house activities and coordinates collaboration between all departments including estimating, scheduling, project management and supervision.

Vincent C. is a graduate of Manhattan College with a degree in Civil Engineering. He provides hands-on experience managing large, complex construction operations, technologically advanced facilities and heavy industrial projects. With over 40 years of New York construction experience, he ensures that all assignments are on-schedule, on-budget and of the highest quality.

He is a strong proponent of the philosophy that learning is a life-long undertaking. Vincent C. actively participates, along with his executives, in leading professional seminars and conferences to remain on the cutting edge of the industry. His numerous awards attest to his leadership skills and the impeccable reputation of H.M. Hughes.

Jeffrey has meticulously maintained and managed the expansive Verizon account over the past 15 years. He has overseen projects, such as switch room build-outs, mechanical rooms, F.A. upgrades, vesda systems, generator installs, fuel oil conversions, facade local law upgrades, as well as office, garage and electrical service work.

Overseeing the Human Resource and Office Management roles allows Cindy to be active in the daily operations of H.M. Hughes. This provides the perfect platform for Cindy to cultivate a lasting personalized relationship with our Clients, Vendors and Sub-contractors. Cindy is continuously seeking out new business opportunities for the company and has joined many in the support of female-owned businesses in a male dominated industry.

Alvin is currently involved with various health care related projects. He oversees and manages most of our work for New York-Presbyterian Hospital, one of our largest clients.

In addition to extensive project management experience, Alvin is an expert in cost estimation and budgeting. He often assists clients with preparing budgets during the early planning stages of proposed projects.

During his years with H.M. Hughes, he has managed various projects at New York Presbyterian Hospital that include a new cancer center for the Department of Oncology, chiller replacement for the PACS System Computer Room, managing the campus wide exterior signage Wayfinding project, renovation of new CT Simulator, Linear Accelerator and HDR Rooms for Radiation Oncology and various other projects for the Children’s Hospital that include renovation of patient rooms, waiting areas, exam rooms and radiology equipment rooms.

Charles has also managed lab renovation projects including completion of a new AIDS Vaccine laboratory located within the Brooklyn Army Terminal and a primate holding facility located at SUNY Downstate. Besides managing projects, Charles also assists with preparation of budgets, estimates and proposals and is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and project management programs such as ProLog Manager and Timberline.

Since joining H.M. Hughes in 1979 as a Carpenter Foreman and Project Superintendent, Thomas G. Maltman has amassed the experience and expertise needed for the role of Vice President of Field Operations.
